1. OW (one way), fully unused round trip (RT) and partially used air tickets (hereinafter referred to as ‘air tickets’) issued only for scheduled flights of “Azerbaijan Airlines” Passenger Aviation Company and “Buta Airways” Passenger Aviation Company (hereinafter referred to as ‘Flights’) to be performed from March 10 till October 25, 2020, but subsequently cancelled, may be changed for any date no later than October 25, 2024 (partially used air tickets shall be changed only for unused segment).
1.1. Each air ticket may be changed once without penalty (Rebooking).
1.2. All subsequqent changes to the air ticket shall be be made in accordance with the fare rules specified in the newly issued ticket.
1.3. Air tickets can be changed for flights operated by “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC in the same direction (to the same city) as the original ticket, within the time period established by these Rules without additional payment. Rerouting is permissible provided that the difference between the fares and fees/charges applicable to the new route/direction is paid by the passenger.
If there is a positive gap between the cost of the original ticket and the cost of the newly issued ticket when rerouting, the voucher for the remaining amount shall be issued.
1.4. Open date tickets remain valid until October 25, 2024.
1.5. When changing INF tickets (for infants aged 0 to 2 years) and CHD tickets (for children aged 2 to 12 years), if the passenger no longer falls within the specified age range, the tickets shall be updated to Child and Adult status respectively, by paying the fare difference by the passenger.
1.6. During all operations, the service class of the original air ticket shall remain unchanged.
1.7. Air tickets with no baggage shall be exchanged for valid air tickets with no baggage subject to the availability of such air tickets for the same direction of travel. If there is no air ticket without baggage available in the same direction of travel, the ticket may be reissued with baggage allowance.
1.8. When applying with the issued voucher instead of air tickets, it is allowed to issue a new ticket and additional services that correspond to the original ticket mask for the flights to be operated by “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC.
1.9. Air tickets issued for CodeShare flights No. 6001-6999 are not subject to change. These tickets are eligible for refunds only.
2. A pre-issued voucher can be used in the future for payment of a new air transportation and additional services (excess baggage, catering, booking more comfortable seats on board).
2.1 The voucher is issued in the name of passenger and cannot be issued/transferred to third parties.
2.2 The voucher is valid until October 25, 2024.
2.3 The voucher can be used in full or in part. In case of partial use of the voucher, an additional voucher for the remaining amount shall be issued. Its validity period is determined in accordance with paragraph 2.2 of these Rules.
2.4 A voucher can be used exclusively to issue air tickets for the flights operated by “Azerbaijan Airlines” Passenger Aviation Company.
2.5 Both voucher and new air ticket issued on the basis of voucher shall be refunded in accordance with the fare rules in effect on the date of issuance of the last air ticket.
2.6 The issunace of voucher, air tickets or additional services on the basis of a voucher is possible only at the sales offices and official representative offices of “Azerbaijan Airlines” Passenger Aviation Company.
